5K Breakfast Run Zurich Seville Marathon 2025 Regulation

ARTICLE 1. PRESENTATION

The Municipal Sports Institute of the Seville City Council organizes, together with Sport LIfe Ibérica S.A., the IV 5K Breakfast Run - Zurich Marathon of Seville, to be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., open for all people over 12 years old, without any distinction.

ARTICLE 2. DISTANCE

The course will be 5,000 metres long and will be duly certified as such. This race will be run under the World Athletics and RFEA Road Race Rules and is included in the AIMS calendar. The course will be signposted and the end of each kilometre will be marked on signs by the side of the course.

ARTICLE 3. ROUTE

START: PLAZA DE AMÉRICA.

STREETS: PLAZA DE AMÉRICA, PASEO DE LAS DELICIAS, AVENIDA DE LA PALMERA, AVENIDA DEL CARDENAL ILUNDÁIN, AVENIDA DE MANUEL SIUROT, AVENIDA DE LA BORBOLLA, AVENIDA DE PORTUGAL, GLORIETA DEL CID, AVENIDA ISABEL LA CATÓLICA, PLAZA DE ESPAÑA, AVENIDA ISABEL LA CATÓLICA, GLORIETA DE COVADONGA, AVENIDA DE DON PELAYO, PLAZA AMÉRICA.

FINISH: PLAZA DE AMÉRICA.

ARTICLE 4. SCHEDULE

The start will be at 9:00 a.m. and the maximum time to complete the race is 1 hour, so the finish line will close at 10:00 a.m.

ARTICLE 5. ROLLING GADGETS

The use of any device or wheeled gadget during the race (including handbikes) is not allowed, except the wheelchairs of disabled athletes, homologated by the Athletics Federation and officially admitted by the Organization. The latter athletes must necessarily wear a helmet.

ARTICLE 6. REGISTRATION

6.1. REGISTRATION PERIOD:

From June 27, 2024, until Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. or until the 2000 available bib numbers are run out.

6.2. REGISTRATION PRICES AND DEADLINES:

  • From the opening of registrations until July 31st, 2024 or until available bibs have been taken: € 8,6 €.
  • From August 1st to October 31th, 2024 or until available bibs have been taken: 10,6 €.
  • From November 1st to December 31st, 2024 or until available bibs have been taken: 12,6 €
  • From January 1st to February 17th, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. or until available bibs have been taken: € 15,6 €.
  • On Expo Marathon, on February 21, 2025: 20 €

3 Euros of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (Real Federación Española de Atletismo) one day license will be added to these costs, except for those participants who own the license from the Andalusian or Spanish Federation or the card Corredor Plus.

No registrations will be accepted after Tuesday 18 February 2025 at 00.01 or until all the 2,000 available bibs have been taken.

6.3. HOW TO MAKE THE REGISTRATION:

Online, at www.en.zurichmaratonsevilla.es, in the registration section of the 5K Breakfast Run - Zurich Marathon of Seville 2025.

6.4. CONSIDERATIONS:

Registration is personal and non-transferable and implies full acceptance of the Technical Regulations of the test.

Under no circumstances, once the registration is formalized, may the participation be transferred to another person due to not being able to participate in the race or any other reason.

Once the registration is formalized, the money will not be refunded in any case.

Registrations made before January 31, 2025, will have the name that the registered person entered in the 'Bib Alias' field of the registration form printed on the bib

The registration limit for the 5K Breakfast Run - Zurich Marathon of Seville 2025 is 2000 runners.

6.5.- CANCELLATION GUARANTEE

Once the registration is accepted, the amount paid shall not be refunded under no circumstances. Runners may add a cancellation guarantee at the time of registration. They must select one of the three options available:

1) I do not want any guarantee

2) Standard cancellation guarantee Cost: 1,5 Euros. 80% refund until 31 January 2025.

3) Premium cancellation guarantee Cost: 3 Euros. 100% refund until 31 January 2025.

General conditions for Cancelation Guarantee:

  • Runners shall only be able to contract the cancellation guarantee at the time of registration.
  • The cancellation guarantee amount is not refundable.
  • Changes in ownership shall not be accepted.
  • It is compulsory to contract it at the time of registration.

ARTICLE 7. CATEGORIES AND CLASSIFICATIONS

7.1. CATEGORIES

The following categories are established:

  • Under 20 M / W: Born 2006 and 2007 (of legal age on race day)
  • Under 23 Talent M / W: Born 2003 to 2005
  • Senior M / W: Born 2002 up to Master (35 years old)
  • Master M 35 / W 35: From 35 to 39 years old
  • Master M 40 / W 40: From 40 to 44 years old
  • Master M 45 / W 45: From 45 to 49 years old
  • Master M 50 / W 50: From 50 to 54 years old
  • Master M 55 / W 55: From 55 to 59 years old
  • Master M 60 / W 60: From 60 to 64 years old
  • Master M 65 / W 65: From 65 to 69 years old
  • Master M 70 / W 70: From 70 to 74 years old
  • Master M 75 / W 75: From 75 to 79 years old
  • Master M 80 / W 80: From 80 to 85 years old
  • Master M 85 / W 85: Over 85 years old.
  • Wheelchair disabled M / W
  • Physically/Mentally disabled M / W

* The stated ages must be those of the date of the race.

7.2. CLASSIFICATIONS

The following Classifications will be made:

  • General Men's and Women's Open.
  • General Men's and Women's Wheelchair Disabled.
  • General Men's and Women's Physically/Mentally Disabled.
  • Men's and Women's Age Groups Categories.

ARTICLE 8. TROPHIES

The first 3 runners classified in the absolute category, both in the female and male category, will receive a trophy.

8.1. PUBLICATION OF CLASSIFICATIONS AND CLAIMS

The classifications will be published on the official website of the event, https://www.zurichmaratonsevilla.es/, and will be displayed next to the awards area.

Claims affecting positions in the classification will be submitted in written format to the organization within a maximum period of 30 minutes from the publication of the classifications.

Other claims must be sent in written format to the Organization email info@zurichmaratondesevilla.es , before the Wednesday following the event.

The Organization will communicate the resolutions that affect the classifications within a maximum period of 10 days, after which the classifications will be considered final. Therefore, all trophies and awards will be provisional until then.

ARTICLE 9. BIB NUMBERS

The bib numbers can only be collected at the Runner's Show, which will be held at the FIBES (Street Alcalde Luis Uruñuela, 1) in Seville on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (uninterruptedly).

To collect the bib number, the runners will have to present the receipt or copy of the registration and the ID, passport or other official document that proves their identity.

No bibs will be delivered on the day of the race.

The numbers must be clearly visible on the front / chest during the entire race and cannot be modified.

The bibs have a disposable chip incorporated, so they cannot be bent or manipulated.

ARTICLE 10. DISQUALIFICATIONS

The following acts will be reasons for disqualification:

Providing false information in the registration (age, residence, etc.).

Not completing the full race.

Not going through the checkpoints located in the circuit.

Not wearing the bib clearly visible on the chest, or altering or hiding its advertising.

Running with a bib number and / or chip awarded to another runner.

ARTICLE 11. PROVISIONING STATIONS

Food and drink will be given to runners in the designated area at the finishing line.

ARTICLE 12. MEDICAL ATTENTION

The necessary Medical Services will be provided to attend to runners during the 5K Breakfast Run- Zurich Seville City Marathon 2025. The Organisation recommends that all runners undergo a medical examination prior to the race, and each participant accepts the risks of running in it.

Runners also state that they are in optimum physical condition for the race and take part at their own risk.

Any runner with health problems must have previously informed the Organisation of this in writing, and must mark their bib with a red cross and write their name, address, telephone number and health problem. For their safety they must have sent a written notification of this prior to the race (stating their Bib number).

The Medical Services will be authorised to remove from the race a runner they consider to be in a bad physical state.

ARTICLE 13. RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY

The Organisation accepts no liability for the effects, consequences or responsibilities arising from injuries or material damages caused by participants as a result of the race, whether to themselves, to other persons and even if third parties cause injury or damages to a participant, volunteer or a member of the Organisation's staff

ARTICLE 14. BAGGAGE/CLOAKROOM SERVICE

The Organisation will have a baggage/cloakroom service where runners may deposit their belongings; it accepts no liability for items deposited there.

The Organisation's staff in charge of the baggage/cloakroom service may ask the runners to open their bags before accepting them in order to monitor the content. If a runner refuses to open his/her bag, the Organisation may not collect the bag.

ARTICLE 15. AUTHORISED VEHICLES

Only vehicles accredited by the Organisation may follow the race. Following the runners on/in any type of motorised or wheeled vehicle (roller skates, cycles, etc.) is totally forbidden and the Local Police of Sevilla have express orders to remove them from the course. There will be sweep bus following the race to collect those runners who, for any reason, cannot continue the race or do not wish to; any runners who are not in a condition to arrive by the planned closing time must get on the bus or abandon the race if so instructed by any member of the Organisation.

ARTICLE 16. UNAUTHORISED DEMONSTRATIONS

Any type of demonstration that could endanger the safety of participants or interfere with the race is forbidden; demonstrators will be removed by the Police.

ARTICLE 17. ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS

All participants, by registering, accept these REGULATIONS and the Rules of the RFEA, FAA, IAAF and AIMS. In case of doubt, the Organisation's judgement takes priority.

ARTICLE 18. ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLICATION (DATA PROTECTION POLICY)

In compliance with article 5 of the Constitutional Act 3/2018 of 5 December on Personal Data Protection we inform you that your personal data will be processed and will be incorporated into the files which are the responsibility of SporLife  Ibérica S.A. and the Seville Sport Institute (Instituto Municipal de Deportes de Sevilla), which are registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. The personal data that is incorporated into the files is collected and processed in order to register the participants and to inform them of all matters related to the Seville Marathon.

SporLife  Ibérica S.A. and the Seville Sport Institute (Instituto Municipal de Deportes de Sevilla) undertake to comply with the obligations regarding technical, organisational and security measures included in the Regulations relating to Constitutional Act 3/2018 of 5 December on Personal Data Protection.

That the personal data provided and any images captured during the event, will be used for the purposes of the race and to publicise it and when informing of the final placings in the race, which will state name, surname, category and nationality of the runners.

Similarly, since the race is in the National and International Calendars of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (Real Federación Española de Atletismo), and since the contract signed with the company charged with the data processing provides for it to make commercial use of the race, the following data transfers are planned: transfer of your data to the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation for its own purposes; and the use of the images obtained during the event in any type of format and/or medium (paper, web, notices, video, etc.) for its own purposes, and is hereby explicitly consented to.

By registering, you are declaring that you have been informed of the terms herein, and expressly consent that your personal data be processed for the said purposes.
